The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.

While 50 degrees and raining is certainly a sign of spring, I was thinking more along the lines of sunshine and flowers and bunnies.

We just went with Mike and Debbie to buy new living room furniture at Daytons Warehouse Sale. He bought a sectional and a recliner. Both are comfortable and pleasing to the touch. Paying for them was made much more complicated by the application of Benno's discount. Theoretically Mike saved over 400$. We'll have to wait and see, since trying to convince the computer to accept this caused it to lock up. They said they'd take care of it tonight. Meanwhile I decided that the one thing my life lacks is a purple velvet couch. I'm going to get one someday.

We just finished watching "The thin red line," at 2:30am. I'm angry that I wasted 3 hours of my life watching it. One of the top 5 worst movies I've seen.
