I HATE Minnesota weather! The sirens are going off so I'm going to turn off the computer and go downstairs.

It's inevitable: if you water the lawn it will rain, if you don't the lawn will look like the Sahara by tomorrow morning.

It's 80 degrees out! The sun is shining, my grass is growing (albeit in odd little clumps, but it's green.)
I feel much more on top of things. The girl who sits next to me in Medical Anthropology thought our 18 page paper was due next week. It's wrong to take comfort in someone else's misfortune but I am anyway. Not that I'm glad she's freaking out, but I feel superior by comparison. Shallow of me, but there you are.

Well 2 down 2 to go. I finished one little paper and a 30 minute presentation. I feel much less stressed. Despite the fact that I still have 22 pages of original paper to write by the end of the week, one paper to revise, and 6 statistics homework assignments to finish by next week.
Somehow BS writing is just so much less threatening than including data or doing a Powerpoint presentation. Powerpoint sucks by the way. But I don't have to use it again until next year. The birds are tweeting, life is ok.
