MAN is it hot out! It's 25 degrees cooler inside my house than it is outside. I feel both grateful and guilty about that. Granted, about 10 degrees worth of cooling comes from the shade trees, but that's still a whole lotta electricity the AC is soaking up. On the other hand my cats would probably die if it was 95 inside the house. So really it's for their sake.
I really want to go outside and work in the yard. I have a couple things that need to get planted before we leave for Alaska. The lawn needs to get mowed, and I need to move some compost. But everytime I step outside I wilt after about 5 minutes. Hopefully it'll cool off in the next couple hours.
Apricots are in season and I just got some fantastic ones at the store.
