The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.

So Benno passed his audition. Now after another 3 days of orientation he can deal blackjack. Yay income!

I've started working at the Grand avenue Garden of Eden instead of the one in Northtown. The 2 minute commute is nice but it's so busy. There is no downtime whatsoever. But it's also cool because the front door opens right onto Grand and we can have the door open and get fresh air. And lots of people stop in while walking their dogs. We even put a water dish out for the dogs. And we have a bench and flowerpots and a bubble machine. It's cool I think.

Our DSL goes out every few hours too. I think Qwest is just spastic. Supposedly the Public Utilities Commission looks over their shoulder to ensure that they're doing a good job, but really what can anyone do to a monopoly when they refuse to provide quality consistent service? It's not like I can find another phone service provider. No more monopolies in the guise of utilities. I want a free market.
