So the FBI has taken the huge step of appealing to the public for Arabic translators because they are so woefully understaffed. Forgive me for pointing out the really embarassing, but the FBI had a diary documenting the plans for the last Trade Center bombing 5 months before the attack but they admitted that they only had 2 Arabic translators at the time and so it got overlooked. Now, what 8 years later they're still understaffed in the Arabic department?!? Can we say oops?
