The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.

Haven't we tried this before? What's next putting people on black lists?People are rushing around looking for anything that will give them a sense of security and they don't stop to wonder or care if it's an illusion. The security we had on planes before all this was supposed to stop hijackers. In the days immediately after all this, when one would assume security would be at its most vigilant, people still breached security at three seperate airports . Security is an illusion. They only have to be lucky once, we have to be lucky always.
Now they want a national ID card. Britain is already rushing to get one, publically announcing it doesn't care about legality and human rights. Without this compulsory card people won't be able to buy gas, open a bank account, get a job etc... Nevermind the fact that these terorists had fake passports and legal Driver's Licenses. No one would ever fake an ID would they?
May we see your papers please?
In Nazi Germany people were arrested on the spot if they were unable to produce identity papers.
Oh and let's not forget that 85% of Britons favor the ID card, 70-some % want DNA identifiers encoded in it, and 60-some % want religion included on the card. Never forget Hitler was elected. A sufficiently aroused population can be lead in very dangerous directions.
