The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.

I am constantly amazed by some of my classmates. How on earth were these people admitted to an institution of higher learning? They cannot read aloud. They cannot pronounce simple words correctly. They cannot produce an intelligible coherent argument in support of whatever position they happen to be advocating. I had my Biomedical Ethics class today and it was an excruciating experience watching some of these people flounder when attempting logical analysis. The real kicker is that they're not even freshman.
