Here's a guess as to what will happen this next week or so. Not even a prediction merely a guess.
Sept. 11- All day memorials. Crying people. Tons of coverage. Many confessions that people are still as angry as they were then. Maybe some frustration with the lack of Homeland Security progress.

Sept.12- Bush addresses the UN. Congressional hearings on Iraq start later that day.
Here's the guess: Bush lays out a case against Iraq. Could be utterly damning (I hope it is.) If the case is sufficiently damning it will make the congressional hearings moot. They won't need hearings they'll just need one vote. We may even attack on the 12th. I think it might take a few days but who knows. I think all of the necessary military assets are already in place. I also think that Bush may well decide that a year and a day timing is just too good to pass up if it can be accomplished.
