We might get frost tonight. I suppose I should bring in the houseplants then. Now where to put them? One should go in a window that is currently occupied by an air conditioner. We should probably take the air conditioners down. But I know that if we do we'll have 80 degree temps for the entire month of October. Also we need to wash the windows at some point. Generally it's done when we take the screens down and put the storm windows in, but that doesn't ususally happen until it's cold, by which point washing the windows is no fun at all. Hrmph winter...

It's freezing! I love September but somewhere in here we seem to have fast-forwarded to November. I want a little more warmth and sunshine please. I don't think I'll be fit for human company if I have to endure 7 months of dark gloomy wet chilly nast.
