A minority of one. (more likely a few dozen... all idiots.) Yes it's permanent.

I really hope this won't be next summer's import to Minnesquito. West Nile isn't such a big deal but Malaria is. Though it would be a good excuse to drink lots of gin and tonics...

The pros and cons of smallpox vaccinations. [Why that may be relevant.]
I'd like to point out that when I was a small I got the whooping cough vaccine that's as dangerous as the smallpox vaccine. Recently I went out of my way to get the hepatitis vaccines and one of them (don't remember which) has more bad reactions per than the smallpox vaccine. The idiocy of saying 'we can't quantify the risk so you can't have it at all' should be so self-evident as to be ludicrous.

They're at it again. Bastards. Gay men can't be priests. What will all the extant gay preists do if the church takes that step? I'd hope they'd all come out and leave.

Wow. Sometimes you read something that just reaches through the monitor and grabs you by the throat. This is one of those things.
