Well that's a relief to those people. I wonder if the increased rate of heart disease came from the conviction that they were going to die of cancer anyway, why eat right and exercise?

Be named as a candidate for senate one week before the election, then don't show up for a scheduled debate.

Something is changing in politics. I can't tell you how many of my friends are going to vote with horror for republicans this year. Many more are voting independent. Now everyone's always known the republican's faults, but when people are abandoning the democrats like rats from a sinking ship... well you have to wonder why. I suppose it is with both parties as it is with the church, wait for the currrent leadership to die off and hope. Though of course that doesn't work because the leadership choose their successors.
