What a bizarre holiday that has grown men wrestling trees into houses.
I sent Benno off to get a tree without supervision. He was, shall we say, overzealous. After removing about a foot from the trunk, the star just brushes the ceiling.
I must say that it's a beautiful tree. It almost looks fake.
We have the best tree stand. 3 years now it's made getting the tree straight a snap. I bought it by chance, needed a stand, saw it, and thought I'd give it a try. Best Christmas related invention ever.
