A New York Times article on the larger ramifications of the current crisis. (Although I think the writer's politics show a bit. How on earth can anyone fault Bush including North Korea in the Axis of Evil now? Fault inaction, sure, but picking at that speech again seems more likely to expose the folly of those who scorned it at the time, most certainly including the writers at the NYT.)
An article that I wholeheartedly agree with (from the guy who negotiated the 1994 treaty.) Both situations absolutely need to be treated as crises. Both need attention now not later.
