BBC uproar is rather similar to the NYT situation over the past few months. It's always nice to see industry self-correct. We can only hope that that will be the case here.

This is a miscarriage of justice. I think that the law is probably a good idea, but the decision to apply it in this case is heinous. It reeks of a special protected class of people who you disrespect at your peril.
