Random Observations:
-Norm Coleman has very large teeth.

-Can we all just agree to give up on exit polls? Maybe we could just have Simpsons marathons and no coverage of the outcome until the next morning?

-I will not shed a tear at the passing of a truly evil man. Based on nothing much, I suspect that he has bad hepatitus.

-Pepsi Holiday Spice is one of the more vile things I've ever put in my mouth.

-Favorite quote from Dan Rather's election coverage: "If a frog had pockets he'd carry a handgun." I don't know what it means either. But it's funny.

-Fox news is indulging in some very unflattering shadenfreude. Michael Moore and George Soros are fair game for some fun-poking because they've been so rude, but the rest of the celebrities who supported Kerry really shouldn't have their noses rubbed in it. They're still mocking Alec Baldwin over the 2000 threat to move to France. Not helpful guys.

-I can't even believe that they picked Nancy Pelosi for the minority leadership. Haven't we had enough of that already?

-For all the people feeling terrified: the right of the people to violently overthrow an oppressive government is enshrined in our founding documents. If you're worried that you're going to be shipped off to a camp by jackbooted thugs, buy a gun and get ready to resist. You can always make the price too high. Remember the concept of zeitgeist. 51% voted to reelect Bush. But the legitimacy of government is derived from the consent of the governed. If things get really bad, you'll know because everyone will be out in the streets marching with you in protest of a draft or banning unapproved religions or whatever your boogeyman is. Americans are not a cowed people.

-Wouldn't you like to see the winners and the losers have lunch dates and collaborate on ideas?

-Every time I see Scott Peterson I'm overwhelmed by the urge to slap him. I don't know if he's guilty but there's something really wrong behind those eyes.

-I have to say that trying to bring charges against Michael Jackson claiming that he started molesting the boy from that documentary while he was being investigated about that very show and that very kid, seems a little fishy. On the other hand, I'm not convinced that MJ is at all rational, so who knows?
