Well I certainly expected such a snowballing of events. It's why I voted for him. One big issue of the day. It's not a sure conclusion by any means. But I'm starting to get tingles.

Well I do agree with this question but I think the root of the problem runs deeper. Everything about the Oscars seemed flat this year. The prevailing fashion aesthetic is a weird 20s/80s drapey goth polished mishmash.
What was the deal with all the black? There wasn't a war to be protesting this year. I think many people will look back on their pictures and wince at the tarantula eyes and unnatural fuschia and coral lip colors. What were they thinking?
fashion themes:
white, cream, taupe, and gold
black, black, and black
ugly ruffles everywhere
wrinkled tuxes
white white skin
badly fitted bustlines
Can we hurry through this fashion cycle please? Eeesh.
