H&R Block got their own taxes wrong? That's not the least bit reassuring a week after we filed our taxes through them. Though late-night comedians everywhere can't believe their luck merely a week after the Vice President shot someone.

Hmmm crazies going
crazy in a very public way in two major oil producing countries... Then of course there's Chavez down in Venezuela... Then there's that Russian tapdance over the gas pipeline... Then there's China signing oilfield development contracts with Iran... India just signed a multi-billion dollar pipeline through Pakistan deal with Iran... (The issue of Iran will not be settled at the UN for those reasons.)

Nah, no connection.

Oh yeah, another thing, the world's largest manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals (
Teva,) is located in Israel. Makes the prospect of a nuclear armed Iran 'wiping Israel from the map' (during the runup to a possible flu pandemic, no less,) even scarier. On a related note, I've always found the idea of anti-semites using antibiotics just hysterical. Or really use of most modern medicine and technology.
