I started to leave a long comment over at
Bekki's about the Solomon amendment and the irony that the war in Iraq will do more to change the issue than anything self-important law schools do or don't do. Here's data.

Same on the issue of women in combat. Women ARE in combat. Gays ARE in the military. Sex, and sexual tension ARE happening between soldiers. It IS wartime. Lives ARE on the line. Yet the sky remains in place. It's ironic in the sense that the women in Afghanistan got online petitions and diplomacy from a Dem admin, and the US Marines and the right to vote from a Repub.

South Park versus Scientology. I LOVE those guys! Go watch, just because they don't want you to see it. A thumb in the eye to religious bullies everywhere.

"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!
